Steps to Reproduce

1. Open a browser console
2. Launch Open MCT in the browser window
3. Observe the console error:

After speaking to @shefalijoshi about this issue, we believe it has been resolved in a commit that has already been merged into the 1.7.8 branch. I will close this ticket and mark it ready for testing.
