Documentation for post APIredesign times?

Hey, just trying to get a better overview of the openMCT platform and the system architecture to find out whether it is suitable for our development requirements..
During the research I found some things to be a little bit inconsistent.
For example this guide here at: https://nasa.github.io/openmct/docs/guide/#tiers
describes the system in good detail. But it seems to be a relic from the past before the API redesign happened.
I assume the current release of nasa/openmct is post api redesign, is there something as detailed and exhaustive existing for the new version where one can make sure not to find obsolete info?
The more recent docs seem not to be as detailed e.g. README.md

Sorry for the trivial question. Tell me if I missed something..
