Since you took some parts of the code from pyfdt (https://github.com/superna9999/pyfdt), please add my copyright line along yours and rename the project into something else.

@superna9999 and @molejar - thank you both for your work on Python FDT parsing! Currently using molejar/pyFDT for a project and it's been an immense help.

If renaming is on the table, I'd like to suggest making the Python package name match the project name. Having (superna9999/pyfdt -> pyfdt) and (molejar/pyFDT -> fdt) makes it easy to pip install the former accidentally when wanting to use the latter.
