Bug report: Result of "View Bit Plane" is shown as empty

Describe the bug

The result of "View Bit Plane" is shown as empty.
Using "Render Image" after that produces some image output.
Adding "XOR" with Key=00 (HEX) produces some text output.

I expect it to show some output (I prefer image, text is OK because I can know it is producing something from that).

To Reproduce

1. Prepare some random image as input
2. Use "View Bit Plane"
3. Add some operation after that to see the output

• Recipe with "Render Image" disabled
• Recipe with "Render Image" enabled

Expected behaviour

Some output (image is preferred, text is OK) is shown after using "View Bit Plane" as the last step, without adding "Render Image" nor other operation.
